ANCOR Z-83 is an Anti-Corrosive Pigment used to manufacture Anti- Corrosive Primer Paint Systems. It is yellow in colour.

Primers based on this pigment impart very good bonding properties to subsequent Coats. As compared to Zinc Yellow, Zinc Tetroxy Chromate is reactive to a less extent with acidic vehicles.

This is a specialized pigment and is meant for use in Wash/Etch Primer coatings, which offer excellent adhesion to paint systems on non-ferrous metals like tin, aluminum and galvanized iron substrates.
